Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy explains how Visiting Cards Online handles personal data when you visit this website, buy a digital visiting card, sign in or contact us.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller is LETS CONNECT CARD LTD (trading as Visiting Cards Online), a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 15432328, registered office 107 Sunbeam Street, Wolverhampton, England, WV2 4PG, United Kingdom. Contact privacy@businesscards-online.com for any privacy question.

2. Data we collect

  • Checkout details: name, email address, billing country, and optionally phone number, company name and VAT number.
  • Payment details: entered directly into the payment provider’s form. We do not see or store your full card number. The payment provider may ask for billing details it needs to process the payment.
  • Order records: products and plan bought, amounts, currency, coupon used, storefront, order and payment status, and the profile link issued when your profile is activated.
  • Account details: if you sign in to view your orders, your email address and sign-in records.
  • Enquiries: what you send through the contact form or by email, such as your name, email, phone number, message and the product or region you ask about.
  • Basket activity: items added to the basket and checkout steps, linked to a random session ID and, if you are signed in, your account email.

3. Your published profile

Your profile runs on the Let’s Connect platform. Anything you add to it — such as your name, photo, job title, contact details and links — is public to anyone who opens your profile link or scans its QR code. You decide what to publish and can change or remove it at any time.

4. Data collected through your profile

The Business Add-ons plan includes lead-capture features such as enquiries, contact leads, forms, subscribers and bookings. Details that visitors submit through these features are stored on the Let’s Connect platform for you. You decide what to collect and are responsible for using that data lawfully.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Needed to run the site: browser storage for your basket, your cookie notice choice, your sign-in session, a page count for the current visit and, if you arrived through a referral link, the referral code. Our hosting provider’s network also sets two technical cookies: __cf_bm (bot protection, 30 minutes) and __dpl (serves the current version of the site, about 7 days).

Visit statistics: our hosting provider, Lovable, records visits for us. Its script sets a session-id cookie that expires after 30 minutes and sends, to an address on this website, the page you open, the page you came from, your browser type and language, how long the page was open, page-speed measurements and technical error reports, linked by a random visit identifier. We use these statistics to see which pages are used and to fix problems. We do not use them to identify you, and no advertising or cross-site tracking tools are loaded. To avoid the statistics cookie, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or email us to object.

The only other third-party script is the optional Google Customer Reviews survey on the order confirmation page. If we add any other tools, this policy will be updated first.

6. How we use your data and our lawful bases

  • Contract: to take your order and payment, activate your profile, send order emails and provide support.
  • Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud, keep the service secure, count visits and fix site problems (see section 5), understand basket activity and, if you are signed in and leave checkout unfinished, send up to three reminders about that order.
  • Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records.
  • Consent: for any marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

7. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that run this service:

  • Stripe — card payments.
  • Razorpay — payments on the India storefront.
  • Let’s Connect platform — receives your name, email address, plan, country, order number and amount paid to create and run your profile. We do not send your phone number, address or card details.
  • LetsConnectCrew (letsconnectcrew.com) — order administration and customer support. When an order is paid we send it your name, email address, country, the product and plan you bought and the amounts paid. We do not send your phone number or card details.
  • Lovable — website hosting, database, sign-in, server functions and visit statistics.
  • Resend — sending order and service emails.
  • Google Customer Reviews — after a purchase you may be offered an optional survey; if you opt in, Google receives your order number, email address and country.

If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp handles that conversation under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

8. International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer relies on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

9. How long we keep data

We keep personal data while your account is active and as required by law, including keeping order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep a record of your consent with your order (the wording you agreed to, its version and the time) for as long as the order record is kept. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them.

10. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@businesscards-online.com to use any of these rights; we reply within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

11. Other regions

If you live in the EU, you have the same rights under the EU GDPR and can complain to your local supervisory authority. Residents of US states with privacy laws can use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information; we do not sell personal data. Residents of India, Australia, the UAE, Canada, Singapore, Japan, South Africa and New Zealand can use the rights under their local law by emailing privacy@businesscards-online.com.

12. Children

The service is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, contact privacy@businesscards-online.com and we will delete it.

13. Changes and contact

We will update this policy when our service or the law changes, and show the date at the top.
