These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you buy from or use Business Cards Online. Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order or creating an account you accept these Terms.
1. Who we are
Business Cards Online is an independent digital business card storefront powered by the Let’s Connect platform, based at 107 Sunbeam Street, Wolverhampton, England, WV2 4PG, United Kingdom. You buy from us on this website; your profile is created and runs on the Let’s Connect platform.
2. What we sell
We sell digital services only: an online business card profile with a personal link and QR code that you can share by link, QR code, email signature and social bio. Three products are offered — the Online, Digital and Virtual Business Card — each with two plans, Brand Presence and Business Add-ons. The features of each plan are listed on the product pages. Plans are paid once; there is no subscription. We do not supply physical cards or any other goods.
3. Your account and profile
You must give accurate details when you order and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for the content you publish on your profile and for keeping it up to date. You can edit your profile after activation. You keep ownership of your content and give us and the Let’s Connect platform a licence to host and display it so the service can be provided.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use your profile to (a) impersonate anyone, (b) publish unlawful, defamatory, obscene, misleading or infringing content, (c) send unsolicited marketing, (d) collect personal data without a lawful basis, or (e) interfere with the security or operation of the service. We may suspend or remove a profile that breaches this section, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in the currency of your storefront on the product pages and at checkout, together with how tax applies. Some storefronts show “Price on request”; in that case you can ask for a price through our contact form. Payment is taken online when you order: by card through Stripe, or through Razorpay on the India storefront. If a price is clearly wrong we may cancel the order before activation and refund you in full.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Consumers have a 14-day right to cancel. Because your profile is set up straight after payment, you must ask for immediate access at checkout and confirm that you lose the right to cancel once your profile is activated. Unactivated purchases cancelled within 14 days are refunded in full. Full details, including what “activation” means and how to cancel, are in our Refund Policy.
7. Service availability
Your profile is provided through the Let’s Connect platform. We take reasonable care to keep it available, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
8. Intellectual property
The Business Cards Online name, logo and website content belong to us or our licensors. The Let’s Connect platform and its software belong to their owner. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the service.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, and if you buy for business purposes we are not liable for loss of profit, business or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the price you paid for the affected order and £100.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when the service or the law changes. The version that applies to your order is the one shown when you placed it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
12. Age
The service is intended for people aged 18 or over. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact privacy@businesscards-online.com and we will delete it.
